Participants first held a minute of silence at the beginning of the festival and then lit candles outside the national theatre building. “We wanted to express through this act of solidarity our unity - and that even in these difficult times, we can find new ways to actually do something together”, said Sofia Todorevic, Serbian activist and festival participant. 'Miredita, Dobar dan’ festival will also be held in the Serbian capital, Belgrade, next month.
