HOW TO ORGANIZE KIDS TOYS // TOY HOARDER BEFORE AND AFTER MESS ADDICT! ✨🙌🏽 Cleaning up mess can be fun to watch and enjoyable for most to do. My messes however get BIG and the amount of stuff that accumulates from gifts, growing, and life can be overwhelming at times. If you followed along at the start of last year then you have seen me declutter my whole house and then some. we live in a 900sqft ranch , which can feel small when surrounded by stuff so I went on a mission to clean up the house. At the start of last year I was a SAHM so I cleaned on my own terms. Often feeling stuck in the house I kept my sanity by not cleaning until I was mentally prepared about once every week, then I would deep clean everything!!! Well although exhausting, it was working out until I went back to work. When I got busy I realized I need more structure for the kids and more time in my day.....so I couldn't clean one room for 4 hours a day anymore!! So I decluttered a whole room and then some of toys and organized what was left into a more minimal amount of bins and our sterilite drawers. Our house stills gets messy and the toys still explode but I have willing helpers and so much less to manage. I think bins and drawers are so much more efficient for kids to play and learn to clean up also. The cubes and drawers take up space so it's easier to want to stay within those limits vs buying more boxes and chests for toys. I have been asked countless times this year how I managed to clean all this up and tackle these large cleanings and mentally declutter our stuff so I wanted to share the BIGGEST challenge I had was decluttering the kids toys and organizing them into a functional system we could hold onto. I am no queen of organization but I am someone who went through this and thought I would share my experience to hopefully help someone else or spark the inspiration to take back control of their life too. or simple another idea to organize if your toys aren't as CRAZY as ours were!
