One Doctrine | I Witnessed to Some Jehovah Witness

Many times the Lord has opened the door for me to share my faith with Jehovah’s Witness. Here is a story about how I used one doctrine in order to show them how there was no saving power in what they sharing with others. That doctrine pertains to Christ and is the HYPOSTATIC UNION. What this doctrine teaches is that Christ who was always God became a man. This is not what Jehovah’s Witness believe. To the contrary, they believe that Jesus is the Son of God and by this they mean that Jesus is less than God, namely, He is Jehovah’s first creation. This is not what Scripture teaches, however. The Bible present a Christ to us who is a creature. And in that it should be understood that a Jesus who is a creature has no ability to save anyone. Sin is an eternal crime against God and the only reasonable and viable payment is eternal punishment. The issue is that a creature cannot pay for an eternal crime because they don’t have eternal life. The HYPOSTATIC UNION is the solution. It is one of the major defenses that the Christian should make against those who believe that Jesus was not fully divine. Christ was born sinless man, but He was always holy God. As sinless man who satisfied the demands of the Law and as holy and eternal God, He is able to pay the infinite and eternal price for our sin.
