IPS Y Puran Kumar Case Update: The last rites of Haryana's senior IPS officer, Y. Puran Kumar, will be performed shortly. Puran Kumar's funeral procession began at 3 p.m. from his residence and has now reached the crematorium in Sector 25. Earlier that morning, on the ninth day of his suicide, his postmortem was conducted at the Chandigarh PGI. The entire process was videographed in the presence of a magistrate. The entire process took approximately four hours. At 2:20 p.m., an ambulance arrived at Puran Kumar's residence in Sector 24, carrying his body.
