The Brian Wilson Band as the opening act for Chicago opened their set with Brian Wilson sitting at the White Grand Piano singing lead on California Girls and Do It Again at the MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre in Tampa, Florida on June 28, 2022. California Girls was written by Brian Wilson and Mike Love and was the seventh track and second single from the Beach Boys ninth studio album Summer Days (And Summer Nights!!), released in July 1965. In the early 1970's Capitol records repackaged many of the Beach Boys albums; Summer Days (And Summer Nights!!) deleted two tracks and became California Girls. Do It Again was written by Brian Wilson and Mike Love and was released as a standalone single for the Beach Boys in July 1968, reaching number 20 in the US and number one (their second) in the UK.
