Sammy Hagar's Birthday Bash - Cabo Wabo Cantina - Complete 3rd Show - October 11, 2025 - 4K The Line Experience.... Club1013 I'd already been awake for over 19 hours when I planted the chairs on the sidewalk that my friends Michelle and Jim had lent me Thursday night, up the street from the Cabo Wabo Cantina as Sammy Hagar's 2nd of 4 shows for his annual Birthday Bash rocked on inside. This show was simultaneously shown on a giant screen outside the Cabo Wabo and live on Instagram. My Instagram feed was glitchy and although I wanted to see the show on the big screen, I stayed where I was. I wasn't at the end of the line of empty chairs, chairs whose owners were inside enjoying the show but in a gap in front of a large doorway to a private residence whose occupants allowed me to stay. After the show ended, the seats around me began to fill up with their owners coming out from the club, returning to the line. They allowed me to stay too. They were very kind and helped answer some questions for my first night out on the street, my first Birthday Bash. My wife had shown up with coffee and something light to eat around 6:30 am, Friday morning. Fast forward to almost 10:00 am, we were finally let into Cabo Wabo to line up seated in chairs in the order we arrived. One by one we were brought to a booth to meet with Leo who would check our ID's, take our money and give us our ticket and dinner seating time. (6:30, 7:30 or 8:30). Very Special thanks to Patrick who offered us his last 6:30 seating time because it was our first Bash. Leo gave Patrick a 6:30 seating anyway for his kind gesture. The Dinner.... We arrived well before 6:00 pm and lined up with the other 6:30 dinner ticket holders. We were let inside as our tickets were verified with our ID's and we finally received our wristbands. We had a great dinner, including a Waborita, appetizer, soup or salad and chicken or prime rib (we had the prime rib). As soon as we finished, we went to stake our spot in front of the stage. The die-hard Red Heads from the front of the line already made up the front row. We fell in, center stage behind them. It seemed like forever (two and a half hours actually) that we stood in front of an empty stage as the Cabo Wabo Cantina quickly began to fill up behind us with hundreds of Red Heads ready to celebrate. The Show.... We thought the show would begin at 9:30 (that's what we heard) but at 9:00, Sammy, Mikey, Kenny and Vic came walking along the catwalk to the stage and the show began! As always, Sammy was there for his audience! I won't describe the show...you can watch the video. Everyone sounded awesome, kept the laughs and the fun going all night! Sammy's special guests also kept the party rocking through an experience you didn't want to end! Was it worth the 12 hours I spent out on that sidewalk and the nearly 36 hours that day without sleep? Definitely! To be clear, I don't claim to have any of the fortitude the die hard Red Heads had out there on that sidewalk every night, even through a hurricane! Yes, a Hurricane! Would I do it again?
