Monday 2nd March was one long Poop date. We started weaning the puppies onto puppy food, specifically, AVA chicken flavour Cockapoo Puppy Kibble. I mixed it with hot water and puppy formula to make a porridge like slurry. They hoovered up two plates full, one at Noon and another in the evening. They all have a sound gastro-colonic reflex, which means Susan and I scoped up poop for what seemed like all day. Most of them are doing their poos on the artificial grass, but not their wees yet. We'll work on this more tomorrow. At least they're predictable. After a meal of kibble much or milk from Caramel, they will all poop, so we stand watch and move them to the grass if they start to go on the vet fleece. When they wake up from napping in the crates, they will poop, so we watch and intervene then too. Note to self - Buy more paper towels on Tuesday.
