This darn shingles outbreak has sidelined me after a string of other things that did as well so I feel terrible about not providing content like I want. I miss you guys but I’m doing good to just be moving the needle at all. But with that said, I am kinda grateful for the forced opportunity to make progress on the pieced blocks within the TQS 2024 BOM by Jen Kingwell, Pick-A-Petal. I’ll end this with a PSA, if you can get the shingles vaccine and haven’t, don’t put it off. It’s doesn’t play games. It comes to cause massive disruption in your life and miserable pain. Fortunately though, It can be avoided for most people. I just had too many other medical problems these past few years to risk getting the vaccine. I react to the flu vaccine so my doctors and I didn’t want to risk a reaction by getting the vaccine. But now that I’m stable from my past medical issues I will get the vaccine - once I’m cleared from this shingles outbreak and when my doctor thinks I should. I’m hopeful this will be a once and done outbreak and I won’t react to the vaccine. Time will tell.
