Cannabis Benchmarks U.S. Spot Index Report for August 1, 2025 The U.S. Spot Index decreased by 1.0% to $1,135 per pound this week. The Maine Cannabis Spot Index decreased by 6.6% per pound this week. Losses for both indoor grown and greenhouse grown flower, by 4.7% and 14.0%, respectively, drove the state index to its lowest level of the year. The Maryland Cannabis Spot Index also fell to a year-to-date low this week, losing 3.5% close at per pound. A 4.1% decline in prepackaged flower product pricing was the major factor in the state index dropping 16.3% below the 2025 average price per pound. The Missouri Cannabis Spot Index will be released to our PREMIUM subscribers in the coming weeks. With both indoor and greenhouse grown flower prices contributing to the state assessment, volatility has been present with preliminary weekly state index calculations varying across a $300 range during the past 8 weeks.
