Trail 4: A real confusion on top and must know before hiking

Trail 4 Islamabad and Dhok Jeevan Loop are popular trekking routes for hiking enthusiasts within the city limits of Islamabad. A café at the parking area, equipped with washroom and water facilities, makes it a convenient and comfortable starting point for a long hike. At the beginning of Trail 4, taking the left path leads you to the Selfie Point sooner. After about 2 km of trekking toward Chak Jabbi and Talhar Mor, hikers reach the famous Selfie Point — the only vintage viewpoint on Trail 4 Islamabad. Since this is a loop trail, those taking the right path via Dhok Jeevan Trail to Trail 4 will arrive at the Selfie Point after roughly 7–8 km of trekking. From the top of the Dhok Jeevan Loop, a path leads to Talhar Mor on the main Pir Sohawa Road. From there, hikers can catch a lift, hitchhike, or book a ride-hailing service back to the Trail 4 parking area.
