Bringing the Outside In is an ’empowering’ and ‘highly emotive’ original youth-led theatre performance brought to the stage by community arts organisation Theatre for Life, championing young people’s views on the climate and nature emergencies. The production explores local issues like air pollution and topics of climate anxiety in young people blending influences from New Forest folklore and Southampton’s urban landscapes in a soul-stirring exploration of hope, fear, and the importance of community in a changing world. Following a successful debut at Southampton’s MAST Mayflower theatre in Summer 2025 and national recognition, Theatre for Life is taking Bringing the Outside In on a multi-venue tour of Hampshire starting in January 2026.
