As of 2019, The world has a population of 7.6 billion. It was 5.1 billion people when I born in 1988. Before going on a journey through this turbulent world, my mind was always thinking about reasons to start a journey at that time. One reason was because of a report I read. It stated that world food production on Earth would not be able to manage the population of over 8.6 billion with water and other indispensable resources of agricultural production. People in developed countries are overeating while in developing countries many people, Especially children, are suffering from hunger or malnutrition crisis of water resources will come in another 15 years, there would be a lack food to feed people all over the world. (Source cited; 2012) There is environmental destruction, poverty, war, food shortage. Lots of problems are happening in the world right now. I wondered what the reality of the world was? What will happen to the world? I thought the best way to know the world was to go and see it with my own eyes. The pessimistic report by journalists or news media may be partly true. But the world was more positive as I see it. My thinking was different to reality. When I visited the least developed country, children who I met on the road were very friendly, and they waived their hands at me. (Mongolia, Tajikistan, Guinea, Sierra Leone, Lesotho, Malawi, Cambodia on video) I was deeply moved by their kindness. I learned the peace of simple life from the children that ran around in nature. Happiness, serenity, appreciating life are the things to intrinsically cherish. Thank you!! I want to see the earth from space one day. And think about ”Next time I want to go over there."
