DJI has just released a new firmware update (v01.03.03.30) for the Osmo Action 5 Pro, promising improved color tones with the addition of "Neutral" (which is the same as the Normal profile) and "Vivid" modes. These new profiles are supposed to deliver more vibrant colors and better contrast. In this video, I put the new firmware to the test with a side-by-side comparison against the previous version. We'll examine: Color Accuracy: Do the new "Neutral" and "Vivid" profiles make a noticeable difference? Contrast Balance: Has the overall contrast improved? HDR Look: Has the sometimes aggressive HDR look been refined? I also include some footage from the DJI Action 4 for reference.
