Our Comprehensive Early Childhood Intervention (ECI) Services Brighton Center's ECI program is designed to support infants and toddlers from birth to age 3 who have developmental delays or disabilities. Our evidence-based approach focuses on empowering families and maximizing each child's potential during the critical early years of development. ECI Services Include: Physical Therapy (PT) - Our pediatric physical therapists help children develop gross motor skills, strength, balance, and coordination. From learning to roll over and sit up to taking first steps, our PTs work with families to achieve critical movement milestones. Occupational Therapy (OT) - Our occupational therapists focus on fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-care activities, and play skills. They help children learn to grasp objects, feed themselves, dress independently, and participate in daily activities. Speech-Language Therapy - Our speech-language pathologists address communication challenges, feeding difficulties, and oral motor skills. They work on everything from pre-verbal communication to articulation, language development, and social communication skills. Specialized Skills Training (SST) - This service helps children develop specific skills needed for daily activities and social participation. SST focuses on behavior management, social skills, and adaptive behaviors.
