Lecture 15 - Solutions to non homogeneous systems of equations

We go over the solution to a non-homogeneous equation Ax=b, and in particular, describe how to write a general solution x as the sum of a particular solution x_p and an element of the nullspace x_h, which solves the homogeneous equation Ax=0. Lecture 15 (video) accompanies Lecture Notes 15 (PDF). This video accompanies a course taught at VCU, and is based on material presented in classes at both VCU and UC Davis. The source material for much of this video (and the other videos in this series) can be found in the textbooks "Introduction to Linear Algebra" by Gilbert Strang and "Elementary Linear Algebra" by Ron Larson. All errors and misconceptions are entirely my own. I highly recommend that students obtain both of these books for their studies.
