Today, we'll be testing the Saga's wind resistance outdoors. Our high-power blower will simulate force 10 winds hitting the front and sides of the tent. What surprises will we find? The pole test in the video uses a 9.6mm DAC tent pole and two trekking poles. Let's take a look at the test results. At launch, the Saga was equipped with 10.25mm DAC NSL tent poles. 10.25mm poles are relatively uncommon for small tents, but the Saga is designed to withstand strong winds and maintain stability, especially in UK and European weather. In addition to the tent poles, the interior can also accommodate two trekking poles, which greatly improves stability. If you're camping under cover, in the woods, or want to reduce weight, using one or no trekking poles will still perform well. However, you can also use a single trekking pole with the tent facing the wind for maximum effectiveness. In the video, the wind speed was maintained at around 56 mph (25 m/s) for 15 minutes. From the side, the tent poles experienced significant pressure, but they withstood the test, and the tent remained stable. We are quite satisfied with this result (9.6mm). We estimate 10.25mm will be even better. We will continue to update the tent's design details, so please stay tuned. We hope you enjoy it.
