In this video I dig into the clutch of my 1948 John Deere A to find out why the clutch will not engage or disengage. I also replaced severely worn clutch linkage components to remove freeplay and slop in the clutch handle. Lastly I adjusted the flywheel to remove excess crankshaft endplay. The work i performed on my #johndeere A is also applicable to most all 2 cylinder John Deere tractors, but specifically the letter series: John Deere B, John Deere D, John Deere G, John Deere H, and the John Deere R clutch. #tractor #farming #antique #repair
