On 20 March 2025, we were privileged to hear from some of Bhutan's leading voices in visionary urban development - who shared how Gelephu Mindfulness City (GMC) aims to reshape the global narrative of how we live, work and connect with each other and the planet. What you'll see in the recording: A powerful keynote address by Dasho Dr Lotay Tshering, former Prime Minister and now Governor of the GMC, who outlined how this Special Administrative Region will combine economic development with Bhutanese spiritual values. An architectural deep dive by Giulia Frittoli of BIG - Bjarke Ingels Group, presenting the masterplan for a city powered by 100% renewable energy, rooted in mindfulness and designed for community wellbeing. Insights from H.E. Ambassador Tshoki Choden, who spoke about international collaboration and the potential role of Europe in supporting Bhutan's most ambitious urban project. A forward-looking conversation with Rabsel Dorji, Head of Communications at GMC, about the global perception of the project and the next steps.
