Yes. you can do it! This has been leaking for a while on the front end of the RK25 tractor and I was putting off replacing this part that was losing oil. It wasn’t a lot but it also wasn’t good. We go through step by step on how we replaced it and cut out some of the mistakes so you don’t fall into some of that. Timewise it took us about 2-3 hours to take apart along with remove from the tractor. Reassembly was about a half hour. Filling up the axle with new oil took probably an hour. Here is the parts and tools list: Tools needed for Bearing replacement USE PARTS DIAGRAM from manual jack/jack stands plastic/rubber hammer large socket for tapping in bearings - not needed for me 17mm and 14mm (12 point), 1/2”, 7/8” socket and wrench, then the one for lug nuts also Torque wrench Good set of snap ring pliers couple of flat screwdrivers - or something else to help pry grease to help new seal slide in place teflon tape for drain plugs loctite 277 - for finishing Torque specs: 16-21 foot pounds for 17 (1/2” around the hub) and then 57-72 foot pounds for 3 (17mm (four attaching hub to axle).
