In the State of North Carolina certain businesses are eligible to apply for certification as a Historically Underutilized Business (HUB). Certification can lead to increased opportunities to do business with the State and is recognized by local procurement offices. Grover Burthey of the North Carolina Department of Administration's HUB office presents an overview of North Carolina's HUB certification program.
