Under a strict security arrangement, students will appear for the High School Certificate (Matric) Examination tomorrow across Odisha. CCTV cameras have been installed in every examination hall, and the Education Department will monitor the exams through live streaming from a central command and control room at the board headquarters. A total of 5,60,512 students will appear at 3,082 examination centres across the state. Question papers and OMR sheets have been securely transported from the headquarters of the Board of Secondary Education, Odisha to 322 nodal centres, where they are kept under tight security. All nodal centres have been equipped with anti-viral safeguards, and strong rooms are under police protection. Like last year, question papers contain QR codes and watermarks to prevent leaks and quickly trace any viral circulation. Along with the High School Certificate Examination, the Sanskrit Madhyama and State Open School examinations will also be conducted in a single sitting from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM. From Puri in the east to Jeypore in the south, preparations are in full swing.
