I saw a reopening party advertised for the Newcastle Art Gallery so decided to head back down there to join in. Such a beautiful day on leaving Forster that I decided to have another swim at Shelly Beach on the way through. Arriving late in Newcastle and went down to the Hickson Street Paragliding launch site, just for the view. Managed to get a ride in at Glenrock Mountain Bike Trails and closed off that day watching the sunset at Merewether Beach. A rainy day saw me spend the majority of the day at Soldiers Baths in Newcastle just watching the waves. Headed to the street party and quickly found that it was nowhere near as much fun as it was hyped to be! About me: I'm Jason, a retired mechanical engineer who has opted for the simple life.
