The College of Cardinals met in the Pauline Chapel to enter into Conclave and take their Solemn Oath after the singing of the Litany of the Saints and the Veni, Creator Spiritus. Once finished, the Master of Ceremonies declared: "Extra Omnes," closing the doors to the Sistine Chapel. From the Pauline Chapel, to the chant of the Litany of the Saints, the cardinals — vested according to their respective rites — will process toward the Sistine Chapel.
