Nnamdi kanu court case today, Nnamdi kanu court hearing today, Nnamdi kanu court case today live, Nnamdi kanu 50 billion lawsuit case closed, court on Nnamdi kanu, Nnamdi kanu latest news today, aloy Ejimakor, maxwell okpara, biafra, ipob, Nnamdi kanu latest news today 2025. Today is 10th of April, 2025. Something serious happened this morning at the Federal High Court in Abuja. It’s about Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, also known as IPOB. Some time ago, Kanu took the Nigerian government to court. He said the way they arrested him in Kenya and brought him back to Nigeria was wrong. He said his rights were broken. Because of that, he filed a lawsuit and asked the court to make the government pay him N50 billion for the damage. That case has been in court since 2022. But it has not moved forward. They kept adjourning it, again and again. Then this morning, when the case was called again, nobody came. Kanu’s lawyers did not show up. The government lawyers also did not come. This was not the first time this happened. In fact, it was the third time. The judge, Justice Inyang Ekwo, was not happy. He said the case was not being taken seriously. No one was following it up. So, he struck it out. That means the court has removed the case. It is now cancelled. That N50 billion case is gone, just like that. It ended without any argument. No judgement, no hearing, no answers. Not long after that happened, Kanu’s special lawyer, Aloy Ejimakor, spoke to the public. He made a strong statement. He said Kanu is not a criminal. He said the government should not treat him like someone who committed a crime. Instead, he called Kanu a “prisoner of war.” He said Kanu was taken because of a political fight, not because he did anything wrong. According to the lawyer, Kanu is a man fighting for what he believes in — the freedom of his people. And because of that, he said the government should treat him as a political prisoner, not a common felon. Right now, Kanu is still being held by the government. He is still waiting. That N50 billion case could have helped his legal team push for justice, but now it’s gone. Even though the case was struck out today, Kanu’s lawyers are still standing strong. They say the fight is not over. They say there are other legal steps coming. They still believe he deserves justice. So as of today, 10th of April 2025, one major case is closed. But the bigger issue — his detention, his fight, and what he stands for — is still alive. His voice may be quiet, but the story is not finished.
