Today is 10th of April, 2025. Something serious happened this morning at the Federal High Court in Abuja. It’s about Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, also known as IPOB. Some time ago, Kanu took the Nigerian government to court. He said the way they arrested him in Kenya and brought him back to Nigeria was wrong. He said his rights were broken. Because of that, he filed a lawsuit and asked the court to make the government pay him N50 billion for the damage. That case has been in court since 2022. But it has not moved forward.
