Welcome to Dad Life Bbq where I am going to try to showcase that you can still make good smoked food even when having a busy life. This is my first video posted on this channel so I hope you enjoy. This video ran a bit long and will shorten them in the future. I cooked a 8.5lb pork butt at 250°F until I reached an internal temperature of 160° and the color/bark that I desired which took about 7 hours. I then transferred the pork to an aluminum foil pan and covered it with foil and finished off the cook. Total cook time was about 10 hours. I transferred the meat to a cooler and let a rest in there until I was ready to shred it. All in all it was a great cook and everyone really enjoyed the food.
