👉Watch Next~~   • Steam Train Extravaganza!!!   Dave, Jenny and I, Steve, decided to go out and catch the CPKC Final Spike Steam Tour. Day one of catching the CPKC steam train on 5-6-2024 Jenny and Steve captured an eastbound autorack train with CPKC 8701 leading in Rio, Wisconsin. A little while later we get a short glimpse the CPKC EB autorack train that passed Steve and Jenny' Location earlier that morning. Back at Steve and Jenny's location we see the CPKC steam train roll through with CP Rail 2816, "The Empress", leading the way. Dave then catches the CPKC steam train at his first location. Then at Dave's second location he sees a CPKC westbound manifest train with CP 9358 leading, CP 8200 and KCS 4074 mid train DPU. Shortly after Dave sees the Steam train once again at his second location. Dave then heads up to the CN and catches WSOR Local L249 switching in Ackerville, Wisconsin with WAMX 3895 and WAMX 3892. Dave then sees a southbound CN with racks and stacks train with CN 2290 leading and 2686 mid train DPU. Shortly after Dave sees a SB tank train with CN 2991 leading, CN 3250 trailing and CN 2821 a rear DPU. After WSOR L249 does a little more switching Dave catches a CN NB stack train with CN 8915 leading and CN 2204 a rear end DPU. Then Dave sees WSOR Local L599 go past with WAMX 3893 and WAMX 3890. We then head back to Steve and Jenny's location in Columbus, Wisconsin when they see a CPKC EB tank train with CP 8027 leading and CP 8780 a rear DPU. Shortly after Steve and Jenny catch the CPKC WB manifest that Dave had seen earlier. On 5-9-2024 Steve and Jenny decided to go back out to see the CPKC steam train in Shannon, Illinois on the CPKC Chicago Sub. Shortly after the steam train passes Steve and Jenny then see a CPKC WB with NS 7544 leading and CP 7033 trailing. As a added bonus at the end of this video are photos and time lapse video of the Northern Lights at Steve and Jenny's location in SE Wisconsin. NOTE: Radio chatter can be heard throughout this video including trackside defect detectors. Day one The CN and WSOR trains are in Ackerville Wisconsin on the WSOR Milwaukee Sub and CN Waukesha Sub. CPKC trains are along the CPKC Watertown Sub In Wisconsin on 5-6-2024. Day two the two trains were captured in NW Illinois on the CPKC Chicago Sub on 5-9-2024.
