Fractal Audio Axe-fx III vs Line 6 Helix - Comparison and shootout

Hey guys, if you saw my last video, you know I had a Line 6 Helix in my studio, and I wanted to shoot it out against the Fractal Audio AxeFx 3 I recently purchased! I used the same IR for all the dofferent tones, and all the clips are revamped through the units, so the only difference is the way each unit is reacting to my playing. I tried to keep all the settings for all the amps the same, but something went a little sideways with the mesa, and they are slightly different. whoops! The amp models on both the Axe fx III and the Helix that are being compared are a Marshall JCM800, a Mesa Boogie Dual Rectifier, and a Peavey 5150. ALSO, I forgot to mention in the video, but all the patches are being boosted by each units native model of a tube screamer, with the gain at 0, tone at 50, and volume at 100. Thanks for watching!
