First Bus and Unite the Union Launch National Learning Network

First Bus and Unite the Union Launch National Learning Network First Bus has partnered with Unite the Union to open twelve new learning centres across the UK. Supported by the RMT Union, this initiative provides 10,000 frontline employees with access to vocational and non-vocational training. The programme includes six new learning hubs and six satellite sites, giving employees across the UK more opportunities for development. This investment reflects First Bus’ commitment to career progression, workplace wellbeing and improving service for customers. Janette Bell, Managing Director at First Bus, said: “We’re proud to open these learning centres in partnership with Unite the Union. This initiative supports our people and the communities we serve.” Scott Higgins, Chair of the National Joint Consultative Forum for Unite, said: “The Learning Partnership Agreement was a major step forward.
