Day 2 of our Epic Adventure on The Riverboat Twilight | You Won’t Believe How it Ended

Day 2 - Mississippi Riverboat Cruise on the Riverboat Twilight from Dubuque to LaClaire Iowa After breakfast at the hotel, we walked around to see various Port of Dubuque attractions. We then toured the National Mississippi River Museum and Aquarium. This award-winning facility opened at 8:30am for passengers of the Twilight. We then boarded The Twilight which departed at 11:00 am, arriving back in LeClaire at approximately 6:30pm. A delicious lunch, mid-afternoon snack and dinner were served on the return trip while we enjoyed another afternoon of entertainment, history, and the beauty of the Mississippi River. We went through two locks on the return trip as well as enjoying the sights along the river including many Bald Eagles were sighted. Once we arrived back to LaClaire we were met with a tornado warning!
