It was held at the Swaroop Rani Nehru Medical College in Uttar Pradesh. Second accused of the case, Adhya Tiwari is under police custody. Last rites of Mahant Giri will be held later in the day as per Hindu rituals and beliefs. He will be laid to rest in a ‘Samadhi’. Meanwhile, five major saints of Akhil Bharatiya Akhara Parishad may hold a meeting to discuss the successor of Mahant Narendra Giri. Many revelations have been continuously made, ever since the recent death of Mahant Narendra Giri. Reportedly, a letter of compromise between Mahant and his disciple Anand Giri has been recovered. According to the letter, the compromise took place on May 26th, 2021. Following which, Mahant had forgiven Anand and he had also taken back the allegations on Mahant. Narendra was found dead in Prayagraj at Baghambari Muth. Three people have been arrested in connection to the case. Giri had reportedly left a suicide note, which mentioned Anand’s name. Narendra Giri was the President of Akhil Bharatiya Akhara Parishad.
