Not every turning point happens in motion. Some happen when you stop climbing. At Washington’s Rock in Watchung, New Jersey, there was no cannon fire. No battlefield charge. Instead, there was distance — and that distance changed everything. In this episode of From Battlefield to Peace, we explore how perspective itself can restore power. From this higher ground, George Washington observed British troop movement during the Middlebrook encampments without direct engagement. No battle occurred here — and that absence is the lesson. Sometimes peace doesn’t come from pushing harder. Sometimes it comes from rising high enough to see.
