Participatory timeline activity 🕒🌱 As part of the CGIAR Transformational Agroecology Across Food, Land and Water Systems Initiative, implemented through CIMMYT in Zimbabwe 🇿🇼, to investigate past experiences in agroecological transformations, the team used participatory timelines to understand how past events have shaped power, agency, and governance in agroecology. Operating in the Districts of Mbire and Murehwa 📍, deep dive workshops were conducted with farmers, stakeholders, and policymakers 👩‍🌾👨‍💼 revealing diverse perspectives on key events, challenges, and opportunities along the timeline. Women farmers highlighted empowerment programs 👩‍🌾✨, while men noted shifts in land and finance access 💰🌍.
