A spantis will leave a still target alone but will viciously attack anything that moves with a precise bite to the neck. Its elongated fingers are highly sensitive and it loves to feel its prey and environment. Its teeth clacking habit has been rumored to be a form of echolocation and its unique tail frills are also believed to be used as a threatening display. Given their skinny stature the spantis is a fragile creature, but this is made up for in its speed which is enough to catch almost any prey and evade any stronger predator. Do not approach.
