Shiv Thakare strongly believed in the words of APJ Abdul Kalam sir, “Dreams are those which are not seen while sleeping, but dreams are those which does not let you sleep”. He dreamt of being famous in the Entertainment Industry and succeeded too. He proudly states that the primary reason for being successful in this industry is the dedication to bounce back lot of failures and rejection. His name to fame story started with MTV roadies audition, which he had attempted for 4 years consequently earlier too. The initial set backs were huge but then the determination to conquer the world kept him motivated to try everytime he was rejected. But the 5th time, he succeeded to reach the Semi-finals of the show. Two years later, he was invited as Audition Panel. His major achievement was winning the title of Bigg Boss Marathi in presence of stalwarts like Renuka Shahane, Vidhyadhar Joshi and Surekha Tai. Topping on the success arrived in the form of title “Most Desirable Person of Maharashtra”, a pride moment for a small town boy from Amravati. His journey of success has just begun and this young lad becomes the center of attraction of any stage he steps upon. Not because he has a perfect package of vocabulary but because he talks his heart. He makes sure to bring a smile on the face of everyone in the audience with his innocent sharing relatable to every person in the audience effectively. Many eyes get moist listening to his personal life stories. Many of you might have seen or heard this “Most Desirable” person on television screens. WINNER OF BIGBOSS MARATHI 2, MTV ROADIES SEMI-FINALIST, WINNER OF MTV ANTISOCIAL. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community.
