Often referred to as "marching band on steroids", drum and bugle corps takes the marching arts to the next level, and one of the most unique drum corps in existence is the Madison Scouts. This all male youth organization features some of the top brass performers, percussionists, and dancers from around the world. The feature length documentary, "Scouts Honor: Inside a Marching Brotherhood" follows three members of the 2012 corps: Brandon, the highly-motivated section leader of the drum line, who is focusing on a future career in the culinary arts; Jo, a member of the color guard who was diagnosed with HIV during the 2011 season and embraces the camaraderie of the Scouts' brotherhood; and Hunter, a rookie member of the hornline from Texas. At the start of the season, Hunter is the youngest member of the Madison Scouts. At only 15 years old, his season with the Scouts is his first significant time away from his family. This feature length documentary follows these young men through the 2012 competitive season. With "Scouts Honor," learn what makes this 75 year old musical group stand out from the rest.
