How's the Weeding Going? A Little Better...

This video is an update to my original thistle‑clearing project from last year, when I first started cutting down dried thistles on our property. Since then, the thistles have exploded across the paddocks, and we’ve been waiting for our contractor to fit us in with the paddock slasher. This time of year, anyone with acreage is told to slash their paddocks to reduce fire risk, so he’s been fully booked since October. In this update, I show the progress so far and what I’ve been tackling with the brush cutter and pruners while we wait. It might not solve the whole problem, but every thistle head I remove means hundreds fewer thistles next season. That mindset is helping me stay focused instead of overwhelmed by the massive job ahead.
