This was the flight home after a quick weekend visit to Tokyo. Arriving at Haneda Airport shortly after 5:15am check-in was simple, using the automated machines just to get a physical boarding pass, then security was pretty much walk through, then upstairs to the JAL First Class Lounge for a quick snack and juice. Boarding commenced at approximately 6:20am and push back was a few minutes earlier than the scheduled departure time. Both meals in flight were tasty, crew friendly as always (several of the crew I flew this same flight with just a few months ago) and before long we were on approach to Sydney. This afforded some amazing views of Sydney's Northern Suburbs and Beaches, before a front row seat viewing the City, then of Sydney Airport, with a Qantas A380 taking off on runway 34L heading for Los Angeles (QF11 VH-OQK). After landing it was a very quick taxi to our gate, and we had arrived close to 25 minutes early. Aside from a Bali flight that arrived at a similar time, arrivals was quiet.
