The Kanlaon volcano just erupted, throwing lava bombs more than a mile away, triggering wildfires. This occurred alongside pyroclastic flows, and a 15,000 foot high eruption plume. Kanlaon has now produced 3 larger eruptions since February 2026, which this video will discuss through the knowledge and analysis of a geologist.
