Allam Pachadi Andhra Style is a very popular chutney very well not only with Pesarattu but also with most South Indian breakfasts like idli, dosa, vada, upma etc. The piquancy of ginger is toned down by the sourness in tamarind and the sweetness from jaggery. Ingredients:- ************ Cooking Oil - 1 tsp Channa Dal - 2 tsp Urad Dal - 2 tsp Dry Red Chillies - 10 nos Chopped Ginger - 1/2 cup Tamarind - 1/2 (lemon size) Brown Sugar or Jaggery - 1 tbsp Salt - 1 tsp Water - 1/4 cup Health benefits of Ginger chutney recipe Ginger chutney is protein rich food. It is high in Dietary fiber, improves digestion. Ginger chutney is rich in copper, magnesium, phosphorus and other nutrients. It is rich in iron also, which helps to prevent anemia.
