Vietnam's Ha Long Bay Tour - Is It Worth It? 🇻🇳

Today we are leaving Ha Long and heading north into the mountains. While I was in Ha Long, I went on the classic “must see” tour that everyone does when visiting the area. I had already cycled all the way out there to see the islands, and while you get a glimpse of them taking the ferry from Cat Ba to Ha Long, I decided to join a half day tour. Was it worth it? Absolutely, but it is one of those things you only need to do once. After that, I set off into the countryside, where everything slows down. The vibe out there is just incredible. I met so many friendly locals and took in some beautiful views. I even came across a small waterfall and found my first destroyed and unpassable road. It all made for a really memorable day.
