Clarity Project Part II: Mental Health, Substance Use Stabilization Services

We're revisiting the Clarity Project in our coverage this month. The project is being developed by St. Louis County and numerous partners and will expand mental health services in the Northland. The project includes the building of the Clarity Center for Wellbeing in Duluth to respond to a growing need for mental and behavioral health and substance use services. St. Louis County was awarded $5M from the State to build a physical center and is continuing to gather community partners to solidify plans for the space. The physical building is expected to be built in the Spring of 2022. Building renderings are not yet developed, and a location in Duluth hasn't been selected at this point. There are a variety of locations being considered though. The contract has been established with an architect, and construction and planning are expected to begin in the next month or so.
