Last Day in Goa 💔 | Fontainhas Walk Under Sun | Ep : 10

We woke up around 10:30 AM, freshened up, and packed our bags. There was a heaviness in our hearts and minds — partly because of the late-night sleep, but mostly because it was the last day of our Goa cousins trip 💔 Our original plan was simple: Visit Chapora Fort (just 10 minutes drive) Explore Fontainhas heritage streets Eat Goan food Visit a beach near Madgaon Railway Station Explore cafes, Goan bread snacks, and parcel dinner before our train But things didn’t go as planned. 🚗 Vehicle Trouble on Last Day We faced vehicle problems, and a lot of time was wasted searching for a workshop. Most workshops were closed because of the Christmas holiday. Finally, after some stress and waiting, we resolved the issue and started our journey. Because of this delay, we skipped Chapora Fort and directly went to Fontainhas. 🎨 Exploring Fontainhas (Heritage Area) We reached Fontainhas around 1:00 PM. Parking was a big problem, so we had to park the car almost 2 km away and walk under the hot sun. ☀️ Important Tips from Our Experience: Carry an umbrella Apply sunscreen Cover your body with cap/scarf Drink water frequently (Hydrate!) Fontainhas is a living heritage area, where people are still staying in these Portuguese-style houses. It is not fully tourist-friendly. Some houses have boards saying “No Photography / No Videography”, so we could take photos only in a few places. There are many aesthetic cafes, but the prices are high and the area is always crowded because of high demand. We tried some famous dishes, clicked photos, and enjoyed the colorful streets. Finally, by 3:00 PM, we walked back to our vehicle, tired but happy with the memories.
