Vlog 22: A week Off Work, No Dig Onions, Creating a Seated Area & Enjoying the Start of Spring

I had a week off work. This usually means rain, rain, wind and more rain. More recently it has meant Covid! But the planets seemed to fall into place and I was blessed with sunshine for pretty much the entire week. Very happy allotmenteer! I managed to get the seating area sorted (pretty much) and build a no dig onion bed with 50 onion sets popped in and netted. I moved a load of woodchips and felt like i was doing a real workout. All in all, it was a very good week spent in one of my favourite places. With the work complete, spring being upon us and the time to enjoy some lottie time, I feel I have managed to enjoy a nice slice of zen this week. Now the nights are getting longer and it is getting warmer. I am hoping to be picking Lyra up from nursery and spending evening at the plot. the long term aim will to be able to pick and eat dinner down the lottie.
