In this Range Report, I get the chance to shoot and review the Vector Arms V-53. This is a U.S. made clone of the Hk53, which was a short barreled version of the Hk93 and chambered in 5.56mm. This was a firearm designed using the roller locking delayed blowback system like the MP5 and G3, also by Hk. Being a clone, does this firearm work reliably? Is it in spec? Does it shoot well?
