In this video, learn the recommended maintenance procedures for a Bobcat® zero-turn mower with step-by-step guided instructions. The Bobcat ZT7000 will be referenced, your mower may look a little different, but the procedures should be similar. SPARK PLUGS We will demonstrate how to properly replace or change spark plugs in a Bobcat zero-turn mower. ENGINE OIL AND FILTER We will demonstrate how to change or replace engine oil and filter as recommended by the service schedules every 100 hours of operation or annually. FUEL FILTER We will demonstrate how to look at the key points to checking the fuel filter, followed with a guide to changing the fuel filter if it’s dirty, damaged, or leaking and in need of replacement. AIR INTAKE, AIR CLEANER & COOLING FINS We will demonstrate how to look at some key areas that you’ll want to keep free of debris, including the air intake screen, the air cleaner and cooling fins for optimal performance, maximum uptime, and extended equipment life. AIR CLEANER We will demonstrate how to go over signs that your air cleaner is dirty and needs to be replaced. Followed by how to replace the air cleaner filters. If you have a breather port, make sure it’s pointing down. TRANSAXLE MAINTENANCE We will demonstrate how to do a deep dive into transaxle expansion tank types, including internal expansion tanks and external expansion tanks. We also walk-through proper maintenance of each type. TRANSAXLE PURGE We will demonstrate how to look at purging the transaxle to remove air in the system. OPERATOR PRESENCE INTERLOCK SYSTEM We will demonstrate how to review checking the Operator Presence Interlock System, running operation, and tire pressure. GREASE LUBRICATION POINTS We will demonstrate how to review the convenient grease lubrication points on your Bobcat zero-turn mower.
