Speaking no English, she settled in California and spent time in the foster care system until she aged out at 18. Today she’s gone from undocumented immigrant to recently-elected Multnomah County Judge. She’s spent her career fighting for Oregon’s most vulnerable children and brings her talent and heart forward every day to make life better for our community.
