Police in West Bengal's Howrah district on July 31 seized "a huge amount of cash" from a car in which three Congress MLAs from Jharkhand were travelling, leading to allegations of political "horse-trading". The three MLAs have been detained for questioning about the source of the money. Meanwhile, the party has suspended all three MLAs.
