SWOT Analysis is a widely used business analysis technique to analyze the current state (situation analysis) and optimize the organization's competitive advantage. The SWOT Analysis technique is an analysis of the organization's strengths (S), weaknesses (W), opportunities (O), and threats (T). During the analysis, consideration is given to both internal and external factors that impact the organization. From a business analysis perspective, the power of this strategic technique is realized when the quadrants are mapped to goals and objectives that are executed in the form of projects and other change initiatives. This is known as TOWS. In this video, I'll be giving a tutorial on how to perform a SWOT analysis as well as how business analysts can USE it once the analysis is complete!
