বগুড়ার গাবতলীতে শুরু হয়েছে এতিহ্যবাহী পোড়াদহের মেলা। প্রথমদিনে মেলার মূল আকর্ষণ বিভিন্ন প্রজাতির বিশাল আকৃতির মাছ। আগামীকাল হবে বউ মেলা। মেলা উপলক্ষে এলাকায় উৎসবমুখর পরিবেশ বিরাজ করছে। আর বাড়িতে বাড়িতে চলছে অতিথি আপ্যায়ন। প্রায় ২শ’ বছর আগে বিভিন্ন স্থান থেকে আসা সন্ন্যাসীরা বগুড়ার গাবতলী উপজেলার গাড়ীদহ নদী ঘেঁষে আস্তানা গাড়েন। এর প্রায় ৫০ বছর পর স্থানীয়রা এখানে সন্ন্যাসী পূজার পাশাপাশি গোড়াপত্তন করেন ঐতিহ্যবাহী এই মেলার। সেই থেকে প্রতিবছর মেলাটি মাঘ মাসের শেষ বুধবারে অনুষ্ঠিত হয়ে আসছে। বর্তমানে এ মেলাটির সর্বজনীন মেলা হিসেবে বগুড়াসহ আশপাশে জেলায় বেশ পরিচিতি লাভ করেছে। আয়োজক ও এলাকার প্রবীণ মানুষেরা বলেন, 'সর্বস্তরের মানুষ আসে এইখানে। দুইদিন ব্যাপি এই মেলাটা চলে। বুধবার পুরুষেরা করে আর বৃহস্পতিবার মহিলারা অংশগ্রহণ করে।' Itihasudar Baradah fair is started in Gabtoli, Bogra.
