Today we spent a brilliant day metal detecting on pasture land in the heart of Yorkshire using the Minelab Equinox. The weather held up perfectly, with plenty of sunshine to keep spirits high. The pasture was peaceful and expansive, offering loads of potential for interesting finds. Using the Minelab Equinox, we picked up a mix of signals and had a fair bit of success. Among the finds were some old coins, bits of buckle, and a few curious relics that we’ll be researching further. The Equinox performed exceptionally well on this kind of ground – stable, accurate, and easy to tune in to even the faintest signals. It was a great mix of relaxing countryside exploring and the thrill of uncovering hidden history beneath the soil. There’s something really special about detecting in Yorkshire – the rich history and stunning views make it the perfect backdrop for the hobby. We’re already planning our next trip!
